
The Tierra Linda Fire Department Calling Team is made up of the following members:

Your operation on the calling team is vital to the function of the remainder of the Department. Our pagers are a great addition for firefighter notification but they are not error free. Individual notification by your team is the only way to absolutely ensure the proper department members are notified of emergencies.
The following is the desired process for calling in the event of an emergency:
1. The team should call firefighters and dispatchers any time there is a dispatch for a fire, EMS assistance or other emergency dispatch. Calls should not be made to announce meetings or other informational pages that you may receive.
2. The primary assignment for specific individuals to be called are periodically furnished to the calling team members.
3. At some time during each dispatch process, each member of the calling team should contact the other four members to insure they received the page and were able to contact their assigned firefighters and dispatchers. If one or more of the other members of the calling team cannot be reached, you should proceed to call the firefighters and dispatchers on their list.
4. If, during a call, you reach an answering machine, be sure to leave a message about the dispatch on the machine so the person is notified at the earliest possible time even if later than the ideal time.
5. Please notify other members of the calling team, if you plan to be unavailable for calling for an extended period of time.
