When you become a member of the Air Ambulance Service, you help ensure that this valuable service will be available to you and your neighbors. You may never need our service, but a friend or loved one might. Your membership support literally will help save lives in your community.
What About Insurance?
Even if you have insurance, it probably does not cover all of the costs incurred on a single transport. Many insurance companies provide less than full coverage, some companies provide no coverage at all. A single emergency flight can cost as much as $17,000. If you are a member of an helicopter ambulance company in a life or limb-threatening situation, they will bill your insurance company, and whatever they pay will be considered payment in full. If you have no coverage for air ambulance services, you will not be billed.

What Is The Cost?
AIR-EVAC is $50 per year for one member and $55 per year for two members in the same household.
AIR-LIFE-ANGEL is $49 per year for your entire household. Also, they offer special rates defined below:
1st Responders (EMS/Fire) the rate is $25 per year for your family
Tierra Linda Ranch residents the rate is $10 per year for your family
Why Should I Join Both Services?
You never know which service will be responding. If one is busy on another incident, the other service will respond.
A helicopter can only carry one person, so in an accident there may be multiple persons requiring transport. Sometimes
the weather may have some influence on which service can respond. The protection offered is well worth the cost of
being a member of both providers.
